About Me

I’ve spent the past 25+ years solving problems through design — specifically, helping organizations create digital experiences that actually work for their users.

My background is a bit unusual: I studied systems engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, which taught me to think systematically about complex problems, then pivoted to design because I loved the creative process. That combination of strategic thinking and hands-on craft has shaped my approach to UX work.

I’ve led digital strategy at Wharton Executive Education and B2C organizations, managing everything from large-scale website migrations to conversion optimization projects that delivered real business impact (like a 34.7% lift in applications and over $100K in annual savings). I love the challenge of untangling messy information architectures and turning website chaos into clear user journeys.

Through Blassey Design, I work with small businesses and nonprofits who need someone who can wear multiple hats—researcher, strategist, designer, front-end developer, and sometimes translator between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. My clients appreciate that I don’t just hand off a design and disappear; I build solutions they can maintain and evolve.

I’m based in Philadelphia, where I live with my husband and two cats. In my spare time, I like to make glass jewelry in my kiln, take nighttime photography, and play video games (everything from souls-like, metrovanias, and FPS shooters to Animal Crossing).
